Ozzy

I have a confession to make.

My name is not Albert Packard.

That's right. I know it seems like it would have been fated: that someone born with a name like "Al Packard" should one day grow up to write the Definitive Alpaca Fantasy Novel (DAFN). Would that it were true. But it isn't. A man named Bryce Moore wrote Cavern of Babel--I mean I wrote it, and my name is Bryce Moore. But I thought that the DAFN written by Bryce Moore just didn't have the same ring to it, so I put on my creative thinking cap and came up with Albert Packard. I think it fits the whimsical tone of the book better. However, if that shatters any dreams you may have had about one day meeting the Al Packard, have no fear. I hereby give you permission to call me Al.

Now, if you'd like to know more about me, more about Cavern of Babel and the process I went through to write it, or if you'd like to drop me a line or make suggestions or whatever crazy thing pops into your head, I'd like to encourage you to come over to my website: (www.brycemoore.com).

To make things easier for you Babelphiles, here are some direct links to Buttersby-related news I'm posting on my site:

Chapter Commentaries (A chapter by chapter discussion of the book and how I wrote it. Only a few up right now, but there will be more coming at least every week!)

Blog (The latest on me and what I'm up to)

Check back here for even more material in the future, including perhaps even an interactive Buttersby and Meander adventure.
